From local town fairs to the Fourth of July and beyond, we’ve got the rundown on this year’s summer fireworks lineup! So grab your friends and family and practice those oooohs and ahhhs, because 2023 is gearing up to be the brightest summer yet!

Reading Fightin’ Phils Post-Game Fireworks

There’s nothing more American than baseball and fireworks and throughout the Reading Fightin’ Phils baseball season, they’ll be featuring fireworks on select nights. The first post-game fireworks show is slated for Friday, May 26th when the Fightin’ Phils host the Harrisburg Senators at 7:00pm. Please see the event host site for the complete schedule.

Elmo’s Springtacular at Sesame Place

April 15 through June 18

100 Sesame Rd, Langhorne

Elmo’s Springtacular at Sesame Place is filled with furry fun and exciting events! Join in on the fun with an exciting line up of meet and greets, music, magic, pirate adventures, and of course, fireworks. 

Memorial Day Fireworks at Sesame Place

Saturday May 27 and Sunday, May 28, 9 pm

100 Sesame Rd, Langhorne

Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and Count von Count, as their music fills the air and the sky is covered with colorful bursts of brilliance. Be sure to watch us paint the sky red (and green and blue) from inside the park. This impressive display will certainly make your Memorial Day Weekend sparkle and shine!

Fireworks Along the Delaware River Waterfront

Saturday, May 27 at 9:30 pm

Various locations throughout Philadelphia

Set along Philadelphia’s iconic waterfront, displays can be viewed for free along the Waterfront at these locations: the Great Plaza at Penn’s LandingBlue Cross RiverRink SummerfestSpruce Street Harbor ParkRace Street PierPier 68, and Washington Avenue Pier.

June

Horsham Day

Friday, June 2, from 4 pm until dusk and all day Saturday, June 3

Various Locations Throughout Horsham

Back and better than ever, Horsham Day is an annual tradition jam-packed with family-fun! Featuring a car show, a 5K, sporting events, live entertainment, food, inflatables, a petting zoo, goat yoga, freestyle motocross shows, and, and of course, fireworks at sunset!

Please note that this event takes place across three parks: Deep Meadow, Carpenter, and Kohler, as well as the Horsham Municipal Complex. Please see the event host site or Facebook page for details.

Trenton Thunder Post-Game Fireworks

June 1st and Throughout Summer

1 Thunder Road, Trenton, NJ

The Trenton Thunder baseball season will feature fireworks on select nights throughout the season. The first post-game fireworks show is slated for Thursday, June 1st when the Thunder host the Frederick Keys at 7:00pm. Please see the event host site for the complete schedule.

Xfinity Fireworks Show at the Phillies Game

Catch the added excitement of a firework display after a Phillies game! As of May 2023, there are two Phillies fireworks promotion nights slated for the season: June 30 and July 14.

Concert Under the Stars by Riverside Symphonia at Tinicum Park

Saturday, July 21, 8:00pm-10:00pm

Don’t miss this picnic, concert, and fireworks spectacular all in one with the Riverside Symphonia coming on stage at 8 pm. This year, the Symphonia will present a beautiful combination of pop, movie score classics, and patriotic music, followed by a spectacular fireworks finale to celebrate America’s birthday.

Summer unWINEd Fireworks at Shady Brook Farm

Saturday July 1, 5:00pm-9:30pm

Rock the night away at Shady Brook Farm with great live music by The Buzzer Band and a spectacular fireworks show to follow! Enjoy an evening down on the farm with great live music, tasty food, locally brewed craft beer, Rose Bank Winery wines, specialty cocktails, and tons of activities for the kiddos.

Fourth of July Celebration at Tabora Farms

Tuesday, July 4, 7am -7pm

1104 Upper Stump Rd, Chalfont

Come on down to Tabora Farms and join in their Fourth of July celebration! They’ll be serving up all of your patriotic favorites, from American flag cakes to red, white, and blue cookies (and so much more!). Our outdoor seating area will be open to enjoy the beautiful summer weather as well.

Southampton Days Kick-Off

Kick-off the much anticipated, annual Southampton Days fair with their 4th of July Celebration (The fair goes from July 3rd through 8th). August and September

First Friday Fireworks in New Hope

Friday, August 4th and September 1st, 9 pm

New Hope Borough

The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce will hold First Friday in New Hope Borough on Friday, August 4, and again on Friday, Sept. 1 with fun, music, and summer fireworks over the Delaware River. The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. at Lenape Park at 54 West Ferry Street.

  • Enjoy a chilled beverage at a beer garden located in Lenape Park.
  • Explore creative works from local artists and vendors on Stockton Street, which will be closed to traffic between Ferry and Bridge.
  • Groove to live music from the talented Matt Borish at the park.
  • And be amazed by the stunning fireworks display beginning at 9 p.m. over the Delaware River between New Hope and Lambertville. The fireworks are presented by the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce and New Hope Celebrates.
