“What’s for dinner?”

There are few phrases a tired parent likes to hear less than this age old-question. But guess what? We just made it a little easier to answer! On those nights when dinner needs to happen, but nobody has the time (or inclination!) to make it, look to this list of Bucks restaurant specials that make it even easier (and cheaper) to let someone else do the cooking.

Applebee’s Restaurants

On certain days of the week, Applebee’s offers free kids meals or kids’ menu items for only $1.99 with the purchase of an adult entrée. This deal varies by location, so call ahead to check! 

Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse

2329 Lincoln Highway East, Langhorne

Hibachi dinners, sushi, and traditional Japanese foods are the specialty at Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse. Come in and see what has become the best part of the end of the weekend and has busy parents looking forward to the beginning of the week because kids 10 and under eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the purchase of an adult entree. Definitely one of the bets restaurant specials around!

El Barrio Cantina and Tequila Bar

1470 Buck Rd, Southampton

Cure the Monday blues with margaritas and free kids meals at El Barrio, a lofty Mexican joint offering homestyle chow and craft cocktails. Must order one entree per kids meal to take advantage of this offer, which is good from open to close.

The Continental Tavern

2 North Main Street, Yardley

​Located in the historic district of Yardley, The Continental Tavern offers kids under 10 a free meal every Tuesday with the purchase of an adult entree. Dine in only.

Denny’s

640 Lincoln Highway, Langhorne

Pancakes for dinner? Yes please! Kids eat free at America’s diner between the hours of 4 and 10 pm on certain days of the week with the purchase of an adult meal.

Green Parrot Restaurant

240 North Sycamore Street, Newtown

Green Parrot offers family-style take out of their delicious pub-style fare. All family style meals serve between 3 and 6 individuals and come with a choice of garden or Caesar salad, pasta (unless specified) or broccoli, and dessert.

J.B. Dawson’s Restaurant

92 N Flowers Mill Road, Langhorne

JB Dawson’s is a casual eatery serving traditional pub fare to families in a cool, modern setting. On Sundays, bring the kids in to dine free (one children’s meal per entree). Parents can also take advantage of half priced bottles from 5 pm to close on Wine Wednesdays .

Miller’s Ale House

2250 Lincoln Hwy, Langhorne

This Florida-based American restaurant and sports bar chain has one Bucks County location and several next door in Montgomery County it calls home. On Tuesday, kids eat free with a minimum food purchase of $10. Try their 6-count signature Zingers for only $9.99 on Mondays.

Red Robin

281 Easton Rd, Warrington

Red Robin offers more than 25 different burger options, Bottomless Steak Fries, appetizers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and meal entrées. On the first Wednesday of every month, kids eat free from 5–8 p.m. and can play free, table top games. (One free kid’s meal and sundae per adult purchase.)

UNO Pizzeria and Grill

801 Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem

The well-known purveyor of Chicago-style deep-dish pizza offers takeout deals so you can dig in and save, putting more Uno’s in your belly. Save on a second pizza, get add-on deals for boneless wings and appetizers, plus feed the whole gang for less. The Besalem location also frequently hosts free kids events, such as kids egg decorating, pumpkin carving, Thanksgiving craft night and more in which kids can eat free along with the order of an entree.
