Ring in 2022 with the whole family with these unique ways to celebrate in Bucks County.

We know that celebrating the new year doesn’t have to mean pushing bedtime ‘til the ball drops. That’s why we’ve collected a list of fun events that the whole family can partake in. From countdowns to noon to fireworks displays, we’ve got you covered. All you need to do is bring the groggers (and masks)!

New Years Eve Cupcake Decorating

December 28, 7 pm – 8 pm, Sweet Occasions, 74 Peddler’s Village, Lahaska

Come out to Sweet Occasions, Shop #74 in Peddler’s Village and create a one-of-a-kind countdown clock to celebrate the start of 2022. Each guest will get to take home their New Year’s Eve Clock creations just in time for the holiday. Admission includes 12 funfetti flavored cupcakes, buttercream, decorating tools, fondant and instructions. This is the first time for this event and it’s expected to be popular, so get your tickets early. This event is BYOB and snacks. Feel free to bring a friend and make this an evening to remember and afterwards you can walk the Peddler’s Village Light Show before or after.

Countdown to Noon

December 30, 11:30 am, Southampton Free Library, 947 Street Road, Southampton

Join the Southampton Free Library as we get ready to welcome the New Year. Read party books with us, dance, and help everyone countdown to Noon! Keep in mind this event is on December 30, the day before New Years Eve and that registration is required.

Live Virtual Countdown to Noon

December 30, 11:30 am, Virtual

For those looking to celebrate from the community but from the safety of their own home, the Bensalem branch of the Bucks County Library is throwing a party Zoom style. Ideal for children ages 0 through 5, the program will include a story, craft activities, a countdown to non and time afterwards to celebrate. Activity kids will be available for pick up two weeks prior to the event and will include supplies needed for the three craft activities (a paper plate noise maker, a happy new year crown and a fireworks ring) as well as some tissue paper confetti for the celebration. 

New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Sesame Place

December 31, 6 pm, Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne

C is for celebrate! Count down the new year with Count von Count and his friends, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Big Bird as their music fills the air and the sky is covered with fireworks. Fireworks begin immediately after the 6 pm performance of the Neighborhood Street Party Christmas Parade. Entry into the park will be limited five minutes prior to the start of fireworks. Time is subject to change. Check the website for more details.

New Years Eve Party – Paint a Llama

December 31, 10:30 am, 2337 Street Road, Bensalem

Save the llama drama for 2021! Grab a paintbrush and celebrate New Years Eve with an artsy twist. Kiddos aged five and up are invited to explore their creativity and create a masterpiece. Canvases are $28 per person and masks are required to enter the studio. 

Painting With a Twist Kids NYE Party 

December 31st 10:30am-12:30pm 

Pick a LLAMA and go to town! 5 year olds and up are encouraged to allow their creativity to shine. Family members are welcome to paint with your children or enjoy the seating area while they wait and watch the fun!
