“My two boys, now 8 (2nd) and 6 (1st) have participated in probably over ten LCA shows each. I have enjoyed their performances immensely. All along I knew that they were learning life lessons about being kind to each other, how to be inclusive, what it takes to be confident, the importance of expressing yourself, and appreciating the talents of others. The lessons go on and on. This report card and teacher conference season taught us that there are academic lessons going on as well. BOTH teacher comments and conferences addressed my boys’ impressive “phrasing and expressive reading” as highlights of and models in their classrooms. We all know how important reading and comprehension is, and LCA is giving my kids a leg up in those very crucial foundational skills. And they are having an absolute blast. This is one happy and proud mom! Thank you to the teachers who instill a love of learning and performance in my kids!!”
