Christmas in Doylestown Outdoor Lights Tour
Quality family time is guaranteed if you make it through ALL 31 houses!
Is there anything more fun during the month of December than taking a family drive to see the houses that are lit up for the holidays? Our family likes to do this on Christmas Eve when we don’t have plans with family and friends. We pack ourselves some hot cocoa in stainless steel mugs, and bags of popcorn for a snack. Then we go out hunting for lights while listening to Christmas carols. (To be frank- this also usually involves some complaining by our oldest, and bribes of extra marshmallows for the hot cocoa so that I can listen to the Christmas music!)
To make finding the houses with lights even easier for families, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church presents the 2021 Christmas in Doylestown Outdoor Lights Tour! This is a FREE, safe, and family-friendly holiday activity that runs from Friday December 10 thru Sunday December 19, 5 – 9 pm each evening. Many Doylestown borough residents have decorated their exteriors for this tour, and the map that St. Paul’s has created makes it easier than ever to catch them all!
This is more than just a viewing, it’s a contest! So once you’ve seen all the lights be sure to head over to their website so you can vote for Best Front Door, Most Creative Illumination, Best Themed Display, and Most Fun for Kids. Winners will choose a Bucks County charity to receive a donation from St. Paul’s.
