Christmas in Doylestown Outdoor Lights Tour

Can your family make it to all 31 houses?

Though Bucks County plays host to several impressive holiday lights displays (Shady Brook always comes right to mind!), my favorite light shows to drive (or walk) through are the residential displays. Not only are they free, they’re packed full of heart; you can literally see the hard work our neighbors put into decorating their homes.

To make finding the houses with lights even easier for families, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Doylestown recently released the 2022 Christmas in Doylestown Outdoor Lights Tour! This is a FREE, safe, and family-friendly holiday activity that runs from Friday, December 2 through Sunday, December 3, from 5 to 9 pm each evening (snow date December 4, 1-5 pm). Many Doylestown borough residents have decorated their exteriors for this tour, and the map that St. Paul’s has created makes it easier than ever to catch them all!

This is more than just a viewing, it’s a contest! So once you’ve seen all the lights be sure to head over to their website so you can vote for Best Front Door,  Most Creative Illumination, Best Themed Display, and Most Fun for Kids. Winners will choose a Bucks County charity to receive a donation from St. Paul’s.

Here are the winners of last year’s Christmas in Doylestown Outdoor Lights Tour:
Best Front Door:
Susan & John Eichert at 261 Maple Avenue
Most Creative Illumination:
Tom & Mary Smith at 31 Chapman Avenue
Best Themed Display:
Here Comes Santa Claus by Lisa & Joe Farina at 46 Bridge Street
Most Fun for Kids:
Jon & Lori Gonsiewski at 212 Stags Leap Circle
