As a kid growing up with a December birthday, I’d watch my summer born siblings jealously as they’d blow out candles on our pool deck, surrounded by their bathing suit clad friends. ‘When would my turn in the sun come?’ I’d ask myself wistfully as piñata candy littered the green grass in our backyard. My parents’ idea of an indoor birthday party place was our living room. Or the local Burger King which, to be fair, wasn’t a bad place to throw a four-year-old’s birthday party.
As I got older, however, I learned that winter birthdays can be pretty fun with all sorts of options! From laser tag to rock climbing, there are plenty of indoor birthday party places for when the weather is less than ideal. Cold weather doesn’t have to spoil your good time, and in Bucks County we have all sorts of options, no matter what your kid is into!
