A rainy day movie just doesn’t cut it for kids with energy to burn. Luckily, there are plenty of indoor attractions in Bucks County, from trampoline parks and creative play spaces to interactive museums and cozy libraries. These boredom-busting spots make any gloomy day an opportunity for fun.

Altitude Trampoline Park is the ultimate place to be on a rainy (or sunny) day. Highlights include a rock climbing wall, ninja warrior obstacle course, high-flying trapeze, extreme dodgeball, and basketball dunk zones.

The Bucks County Free Library is more than its collection of books or even its storytime programming. On a rainy day, it’s the play spaces that make it a great place to spend a morning or afternoon. The Langhorne Branch stands out with Penn’s Little Village, a kid-sized community complete with a market, mechanic shop, fire station, camper, and more. Meanwhile, the Doylestown Branch features an interactive light wall and LEGO wall.

Bucks County Children’s Museum

The Bucks County Children’s Museum began as the dream of a local elementary and special education teacher. Over the years, her vision grew into a space where children can connect with the world around them through hands-on exhibits that celebrate the county’s unique history and charm.

In 2025, the museum underwent a $1-million renovation that updated and added exhibits including a Penn Medicine Doylestown Health hospital exhibit, a replica of a 1700s inn, and an ADA-compliant treehouse. The museum is designed for children ages 1 to 7.

Bucks County Ice Sports Center

This local favorite houses two NHL-sized rinks and features a public skate for $17 per person (rentals included) nearly every day of the week. It also hosts special events, lessons, and birthday parties. Schedules change regularly, so be sure to check the website or call before you go.

Doylestown Rock Gym

For the kid who loves climbing all over your furniture, there’s Doylestown Rock Gym. This facility features more than 12,000 square feet of indoor rocking climbing surface, including overhands, boulders, chimneys, caves, cracks and lead walls.

Giggleberry Fair

Located at Peddler’s Village, this play scape is a beloved favorite of families in Bucks County. Its two centerpieces are Giggleberry Mountain, the area’s largest and most incredible indoor obstacle course, and a historic, full-sized carousel. There’s also a toddler play area with water tables and climbing structures, plus arcade machines and food.
