Outdoor Concerts and Movies Around Bucks County

From family favorite outdoor movies at the Mercer Museum in Doylestown to listening to some tunes at the Univest Performance Center in Quakertown, summer nights in Bucks County are filled with of entertainment options to enjoy under the stars.

What’s more, local parks and community centers come to life with outdoor concerts, showcasing a variety of musical genres. Best of all, many of these events are free to attend and often feature food trucks, and sweet treats to enhance the experience.

Outdoor Movies at the Mercer Museum

Mercer Museum, 84 S. Pine Street, Doylestown

The Mercer Museum and The County Theater, in collaboration with Shankweiler’s Drive-In, are once again bringing classic outdoor movies to the community with their 2025 Evening Film Series. Held on the scenic Green at the Mercer Museum, movies show on select Thursday nights throughout the summer.

Plymouth Township Concerts & Movies in the Park

Greater Plymouth Community Center, 2910 Jolly Road, Plymouth Meeting

The free, weekly summer performances at Plymouth Township alternate between movies and concerts. Performances take place on Wednesday evenings beginning June 18 through July 31, 2025. On movie nights, DJ entertainment begins at 7:30 and movies begin at dusk. There will be popcorn, candy, drinks, and treats from Kona Ice available for purchase. Concerts begin at 7 pm.

Buckingham Township Free Family Concerts

Hansell Park, 5165 Hansell Road, Doylestown

Enjoy free family-friendly concerts every Thursday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm in Buckingham Township, June 19 through August 21. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for a relaxing night of live music in a beautiful outdoor setting. The summer lineup features a mix of crowd-pleasing local bands and classic rock tribute acts. It’s the perfect way to enjoy warm summer nights with great music and a friendly community setting.

Movies Under the Stars in Newtown/Yardley

1661 Edgewood Road, Yardley

Movies Under the Stars returns to Newtown/Yardley for another season of family-friendly fun. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy free outdoor movie nights in a relaxed, open-air setting. With three scheduled dates (June 28, July 19 and August 23), it’s a great opportunity for families and friends to come together and enjoy an evening under the stars. Movies start at dusk. Be sure to bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs.

Sounds of Summer in Quakertown

Univest Performance Center, 301 West Mill Street, Quakertown

The Sounds of Summer Concert Series in Quakertown offers an exciting lineup of live music performances at the Univest Performance Center. This annual event, presented by Sands Auto Group, brings a diverse range of artists to the stage. Enjoy performances from tribute bands, country stars, and classic rock legends.
