Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, the date when Union soldiers freed the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas. Many people, especially Black Americans, consider the holiday our second Independence Day and celebrate accordingly.

Juneteenth at Still Rise Farms

The Central/Upper Bucks Juneteenth Celebration marks its 5th Anniversary on the beautiful grounds of Still Rise Farms in Perkasie, PA, inviting the community to rest, connect, and celebrate with family and friends. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a day filled with food trucks, vendors, and children’s activities, with further event details shared after registration.
Juneteenth – A Witness
June 14, 2026, 2 pm
Bucks County Free Library, 150 S. Pine St., Doylestown
Doreen Stratton brings history to life with her performance about Arugbo, an enslaved young woman who witnesses the arrival of Juneteenth in Galveston, Texas in June 1865—two years after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. A third-generation Doylestown resident and published writer, Ms. Stratton has presented to over fifty organizations, schools, and houses of worship. This a not-to-miss event presented free to the public by the Doylestown Historical Society and Friends of the Doylestown Library. Arrive early, as seating is limited.
5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration

Salem Baptist Church of Abington presents their 5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, “The Future We Author: Bound by Liberty, Driven by Excellence,” a two-day event on June 19th and 20th, 2026. Kick off the weekend on June 19th from 6–10pm with an Old School Block Party featuring new school DJ sets by DJ Fohn, then continue the celebration on June 20th from 12–5pm with a Family Festival & Vendor Marketplace headlined by live DJ sets from The Scratch Brothers. Come together to celebrate freedom, honor history, and build the future at this unforgettable community event.
Juneteenth Freedom Day Ride

Mercer County Park, 1638 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor, NJ
The 6th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Ride returns on Saturday, June 20, 2026, offering routes for all levels including 75, 50, and 35-mile options as well as a Novice Ride, with in-person registration beginning at 7am at Mercer County Park. Registration includes three fully stocked rest stops, SAG coverage, a post-ride meal and Riders Reception, free parking, and an event t-shirt guaranteed for those registered by June 16th.
Sixth Annual Juneteenth Celebration

The African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County presents their Sixth Annual Juneteenth Celebration on June 20. This event honors the past, celebrates the present, and inspires the future. The event features live entertainment, merchandise and food vendors, community resources, a Health and Wellness Pavilion, and children’s activities. It’s a vibrant day where legacy lives and culture leads. Free and open to all.
Juneteenth Parade

The Lehigh Valley will mark its 4th Annual Juneteenth Parade with a lively and inspiring procession along Northampton Street in Easton, PA. The streets will come alive with the sounds and sights of drumlines, step teams, fraternities, sororities, youth groups, and dance troupes. Each performance brings a unique energy, creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflects unity, pride, and the enduring spirit of the Juneteenth holiday.
