Bucks County Brewery

31 Appletree Lane, Pipersville

Locals tout this small batch craft brewery as a local gem for families. Open from Thursday through Sunday, during warmer weather the brewery encourages groups to bring their own chairs and folding tables and set up camp (they have picnic tables but those fill quickly on busy days.) They also allow outside food and non-alcoholic beverages so you can pack your kid’s lunchbox and you’re good to go. Check their calendar out for the live music!

Free Will Brewing Co.

410 E Walnut Street #10, Perkasie

Not only does this place offer non-alcoholic drinks in addition to their legendary sour ales, they have a space to change your baby’s diaper as well! Regular weekend food trucks keep everyone full and fed, and they encourage you to bring outside food, but offer light snacks just in case you forget.

Great Barn Brewery

Kintersville, New Hope and Warrington Locations

Great Barn Brewery now has three locations where you can get their beer. Pick up a four pack in Kitnersville, where all the magic happens. They also have seasonal events on Friday and Saturday evenings. If you’re in New Hope, check out Great Barn’s scenic back patio on the bank of the Aquatong Creek (as well as a picturesque view of The Bucks County Playhouse) for live music or special events. And when they say live music they don’t mean a guy in the corner with a guitar; they have a large raised stage that is in use five days a week supporting both the local music scene and bigger names from outside the area.

Langhorne Brewing Co.

1558 W Maple Avenue, Langhorne

After a long day at Sesame Place bring out the whole family for dinner and live music. Their thoughtfully curated menu has something for everyone, including square pizzas and a kids’ menu. Come check out one of Langhorne’s best breweries!

McCoole’s Red Lion Brewery

4 S Main Street, Quakertown

A real arts and rich history treasure in uptown Quakertown hosting delicious food with a unique and historical atmosphere! If the food (or beer) wasn’t enough, live piano entertainment will keep your gang entertained while you sip your ale, wine, or cocktail.

Naked Brewing Co.

51 Buck Road, Huntingdon Valley

Don’t let the name fool you! The walls are covered in chalkboard paint and games are provided. Kids are able to sip juice boxes and sodas while you can grab a pint or go big with a growler.

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co.

909 Ray Avenue, Croydon

Sit inside or out at a picnic table and sample from one of the great food trucks on site from this brewery that lovingly refers to themselves as defiant misfits. Get competitive and play arcade games or air hockey, or just relax with the family dog, as leashed pets are welcome.

Newtown Brewing Co.

103 Penns Trail, Newtown

Newtown Brewing Co. is a brewery and taproom offering a warm and inviting craft beer experience with an emphasis on community. With movie nights on most Thursdays, this place is certainly welcoming to children. Some showings are rated PG-13, so it’s recommended doing some research before heading over with younger kiddos.

Odd Logic Brewing Co.

500 Bristol Pike, Bristol

Trivia nights, live performances, food trucks and a family friendly staff in a cool, modern atmosphere nestled in historic Bristol. The brewery recently reopened so come check out their newly renovated space!

The Proper Brewing Company

117 W Broad Street, Quakertown

The Proper Brewing Company is a family-run restaurant and brewery located inside the historic Palace Theater in downtown Quakertown. Trivia, music and delicious bites encourage fun for the whole family with neighborly vibes.

Warwick Farm Brewing

800 Almshouse Road, Jamison

What’s more family-friendly than a brewery that was founded between family? Warwick Farm Brewing was born when father and son banded together to create a place where beer enthusiasts could both enjoy a brew and help preserve the historic nature of Bucks County. The 22-acre estate sits atop the highest point in Jamison, where they host year-round events that bring out families picnic style to enjoy music, food and brews!
