I am writing this review as another professional who has had the pleasure of working with Genevieve in a multitude of avenues. I met Genevieve in 2016 when she supervised me while working at an agency. She provided a friendly, welcoming, and comprehensive experience in providing me with education and practical application in working with families and couples using systems theory. Genevieve was able to provide her own experience as well as encyclopedic resources for me to grow my knowledge and ability to apply skills such as being able to sense processes and implications of how families interact and react to each other in positive and less-adaptive ways. Genevieve was engaged and available for a number of supports in that role and I still pull from things I learned in the time when I worked with her.
I have also been confidently referring clients I see in my own practice to Holtz Powell for a number of years with positive results from a number of clients. Genevieve, again, is able to provide to clients a relatable and humorous presence that allows for space to be made for couples and individuals to explore their relationships with others and themselves. Holtz Powell also is dedicated to being accessible to clients in that they offer hours that work for most people’s schedules and they are paneled with a variety of insurance providers.
