GSK Science in the Summer
Multiple locations around Philadelphia
GSK Science in the Summer™ is a free summer camp supported by GSK, offered by the Franklin Institute. They host camps at various locations around the Philadelphia area and beyond.
If your kids are science lovers and entering grades 2–6, this program is for them. Quite a few locations in the Bucks County Free Library system have offered this program in the past and you can view the 2026 locations via the Franklin Institute website once the information is live. This year’s GSK Science in the Summer™ theme is, “Be a Chemist!”
Empower U and Stand Up Summer Camps – River Crossing YMCA
Quakertown YMCA, 401 Fairview Avenue, Quakertown
Fairless Hills YMCA, 601 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills
River Crossing YMCA, with locations throughout Bucks County, offers two extraordinary weeklong summer camps for teens, grades 7–10. These donor-supported, free camps include Empower U for teen girls, a program designed to strengthen self-esteem, self-reliance, positive relationships, and confidence. Stand Up for teen boys, focuses on enhancing self-image through exercise, developing self-reliance, and cultivating positive relationships.
Empower U will be held at the Quakertown and Fairless Hills branches while Stand Up will be held at the Fairless Hills location. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up once registration opens.

Low-Cost Summer Camps in Bucks County
Many low-cost summer camp options exist throughout Bucks County, offering either low enrollment fees or discounts. From nature-centric camps to day camps featuring a wide array of activities each day, you’ll find the ideal camp for your kids to enjoy. Bucks County Intermediate Unit Fab Lab Summer Camps

The Fab Lab summer camp offered by the Bucks County Intermediate Unit focuses on STEM activities that combine innovation with creativity. The summer camp is offered to kids entering grades 1–7 and consists of weeklong day camps, with full-day and half-day options. There is a 3% discount available for multi-week registrations and sibling registrations.
Churchville Nature Center

Churchville Nature Center offers exciting, nature-themed weeklong camps throughout the summer for kids ages 4–13. Some of the fun activities your children will enjoy throughout summer camp include foraging, fishing, crafting, and more. Churchville Nature Center members receive a 10% discount on summer camps.
Bucks County Community College Kids on Campus
275 Swamp Road, Newtown
Bucks County Community College offers over 50 camps for children throughout the summer at the Newtown campus. Kids ages 5–12 can take part in camps with themes including science, art, sports, and more. There’s also a teen experience camp for children ages 13–17 consisting of a wide array of activities. Prices vary by camp and there are quite a few affordable options available.
Falls Township Summer Camps
Walt Disney Elementary School, 200 Lakeside Drive, North Levittown
The Township of Falls offers summer camps for the 2026 season that feature a wide array of activities, such as sports, games, arts and crafts, dance, swimming, field trips, and more, for kids ages 5–13. The summer camp offers dates from Monday, June 22 through Friday, July 31, 2026. Registration opens on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 9 am.
Camp Curiosity
4425 Landisville Road, Doylestown
Award-winning Camp Curiosity is a Bucks County favorite when it comes to summer camps. A younger camp for 2–6 year-olds and an older camp for kids in grades 1–6 provide plenty of options for parents. There’s also a CIT camp that kids grades 7–9 can apply for and take part in during the 2026 summer season.
The expansive 50-acre Camp Curiosity offers weekly themes, flexible scheduling, and special discounts for early registration, multiple sibling registrations, and first responder, military, and teacher discounts.

River Crossing YMCA

River Crossing YMCA offers a bevy of summer camps at its multiple locations throughout Bucks County, such as Doylestown, Quakertown, Holland, New Hope, Warminster, and Fairless Hills.
Choose from traditional day camps and specialty programs filled with sports, nature, arts, gymnastics, STEM, and other activities that your children are sure to enjoy. The River Crossing YMCA also offers affordable options for families with discounts and its financial assistance program. Information for the 2026 summer camp season will be posted in mid-December, 2025, with registration opening in mid-January, 2026.
Snipes Farm Day Camp

Snipes Farm Day Camp comprises an impressive 80-acre farm camp. Your kids can enjoy nature, learn new skills, take part in fun activities, and have a great time making new friends along the way. Examples of some of the exciting activities your kids will enjoy include taking care of animals, gardening, cooking, making art, and so much more.
Choose from Farm Day Camp for kids ages 5–12, Camp Leadership Program for kids ages 13–15, and Counselors in Training for children ages 16–17. Snipes Farm Day Camp offers a variety of discount offerings, such as early bird discounts and discounts for returning campers and families with multiple siblings attending.
Bucks County Audubon Society – Summer Camp at Honey Hollow

Sign your kids up for a nature camp filled with exciting activities and daily adventures at the Bucks County Audubon Society’s Summer Camp at Honey Hollow. The weeklong summer camps feature a different theme each week and you can choose a half-day camp or full-day option for your kids to enjoy.
The Nature Exploration Camp is a half-day summer camp for kids ages 4–6 while the Summer Adventure Camp, suitable for kids ages 6–12, offers both full-day and half-day options. Some of the camp themes for 2026 include wetlands and watersheds, wild survival, and slimy and scaly creatures. Discounted rates are available to families that are Bucks County Audubon Society members.
