The twinkling lights of Christmas trees herald the start of the holiday season across Bucks County. Each year, towns throughout our region come alive with festive cheer as families gather for these beloved lightings, many of which also herald carolers, sweet treats, special guests (think some of our children’s favorites, Santa, the Grinch, Elsa!) and more merrymaking activities.

Buckingham Township’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
December 5, 2025 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Buckingham Township Building, 4613 Hughesian Drive, Buckingham PA
Celebrate the season in Buckingham Township at the annual tree lighting at the Township Building. Listen to the choir sing on the porch, watch Santa arrive by fire truck at 6:30 PM, and enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and cider. Kids can participate in crafts and meet Santa for photos, while families are encouraged to bring a food donation for the pantry.
Doylestown’s 111th Annual Tree Lighting
November 28, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Doylestown Borough
To kick off their WinterFest celebration, Doylestown invites the community to its 111th Annual Tree Lighting. Guest emcee Richard Curtis will help welcome Santa, Mrs. Claus, and some other special guests. Free shuttle service will be provided by the Doylestown Dart, running from the parking garage to the tree lighting ceremony beginning at 5 PM.
LBBA Dickens Night
December 5, 2025 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Langhorne Borough
Langhorne Borough invites the community to its annual LBBA Dickens Night, a festive holiday celebration taking place at the corner of Bellevue & Maple Avenues. The evening features live music, shopping, delicious food, and family-friendly activities, with the highlight being Santa lighting the Christmas tree at 7:30 PM. Guests can meet Santa afterward and are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support the borough’s annual food drive.
New Hope Christmas Tree Lighting

Celebrate the magic of the season at New Hope’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting! The evening features cheerful holiday music, hot chocolate, cookies, and Santa’s arrival. Families can enjoy festive fun and continue a beloved 40-year tradition thanks to the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce and the Logan Inn.
Perkasie’s 117th Tree Lighting Ceremony
December 6, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Perkasie Town Center, 620 West Chestnut Street, Perkasie, PA
Perkasie Borough is delighted to announce its cherished annual celebration – America’s Oldest Tree Lighting—a celebration that first illuminated the town in 1909 and was officially recognized in the U.S. Congressional Record in 2015.
The tree lighting will take place at 7:00 pm, when Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive on a Perkasie Electric truck, inviting one lucky child to help light the tree. The evening will feature holiday music, carolers, and live performances of The Nutcracker at 5:30 and 6:30 pm, along with horse and carriage rides, stilt-walkers, festive window displays, and a train exhibit by the Perkasie Model Railroad Club. Guests can also enjoy food trucks, local shopping specials, and photo opportunities with Santa and his elves in the charming historic town center.
The Shops at Valley Square Annual Tree Lighting & The Arrival of Santa
November 15 2025 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
The Shops at Valley Square, 1501 Main St, Warrington, PA
The Shops at Valley Square will kick off the holiday season with their Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and arrival of Santa.The celebration will include live music, face painting, glitter tattoos, complimentary hot chocolate, bounce houses, and a variety of food trucks. Visitors are invited to take their own photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Elves as the holiday season officially begins with the lighting of the Christmas tree.
