Dress your ‘princess best’ and join the Newtown Township Parks and Recreation Center for a Mother’s Day-inspired tea party, led by a princess! Event-goers will be delighted by a short story, followed-by singing, dancing, and non-competitive games. The children will then be treated to tea party-style snacks and beverages. Time will also be set aside to take pictures with the visiting character. This event is best geared towards children, ages 3-7 years old.

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea Train on the New Hope Railroad

May 13 and 14th, 3 to 4 pm

32 W Bridge Street, New Hope

Embark on a whimsical experience from a time gone by aboard a classic 20th century rail equipment. While traveling through the woods of Bucks County, guests will partake in a pot of tea from a carefully curated loose leaf tea selection. No midday tea is complete without scrumptious snacks – each table will be set with a variety of tea time savories and sweets, including tea sandwiches and scones. This is a truly unique experience in a venue unlike any other!

Mother’s Day Tea Party at Wax N Scent Studio

May 13, 12 to 2 pm

15 North Main Street, New Hope

A hands-on in-person candle-making, cookie decorating, floral arrangements, and more experience. Advanced tickets are recommended.

Attendees will make a 16oz scented candle and create their own floral arrangements with various seasonal flowers. Mimi Treats will show you how to decorate cookies, and Fashionably You Art will draw pictures of you in your outfits. So wear something cute! There will be music, refreshments, tea, mimosa, and local wine to try.

Seeing Kindness: Workshop & Mother’s Day Tea Party

Buddha says we should contemplate the great kindness of all living beings and we can begin by remembering the kindness of our mother of this life; and then, by extension, we can remember the kindness of all other living beings who have been our mothers in previous lives. By contemplating the innumerable ways in which others help us we will develop a deep feeling of cherishing – a sense that all living beings are important and that their happiness and freedom are also important.

Join Menlha Kadampa Buddhist Center for this beautiful meditation to celebrate all our kind mothers. The workshop will conclude with a tea party to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day Mimosa Brunch on the New Hope Railroad

Treat Mom to something special this year and join the New Hope Railroad for their Mother’s Day Mimosa Brunch.
