Sweet Suites and Musical Treats – Bucks County Symphony Orchestra Family Concert

December 8, 2024 @ 3:00 pm
The Bucks County Symphony Orchestra presents its Family Concert—Sweet Suites and Musical Treats—at Central Bucks High School East, as narrator Valerie Eastburn entertains the audience with captivating stories and fun facts while the BCSO plays nuggets from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker and other enthralling pieces.
The BCSO will feature its Youth Concerto Competition prize winner, 13-year-old cellist Elijah Song of Warrington, PA, and the Central Bucks East Wind Ensemble, which will perform with the orchestra.
TICKETS: $10 for adults – students admitted free. Reserve online to guarantee admission.

Igor Stravinsky: Suite No. 2 for Small Orchestra
Édouard Lalo: Cello Concerto in D minor (mvt. I)
Elijah Song, cello (Youth Concerto Competition Winner)
