Middletown Grange Fair

The Middletown Grange Fair opens this week with a focus on all things agricultural!
Over five days, the fair will feature livestock demonstrations, hot dog pig races, pony rides, horse-drawn wagon rides and lots of animals. Tractors will also be big at the fair, with tractor games, tractor parades and “slow-tractor races.”
A key part of the fair is its exhibits, a category that refers to things people have grown or made and enter into the fair for judging. The fair accepts all kinds of handiwork—anything that has been “grown, produced or made since the last fair,” according to the rules—and puts them up for judging. You might see a prize tomato someone has grown in their garden or a Lego sculpture assembled by a child.
