Fishing Derby at Peace Valley Park

Families are invited to celebrate Father’s Day at the Kid’s Annual Father’s Day Fishing Derby, held at Angler’s Pier in Peace Valley Park. Designed for children ages 5 to 15, this catch-and-release event offers a fun and memorable morning of fishing, friendly competition, and time spent together in nature.
Check-in runs from 8:00 to 8:30 AM, with fishing scheduled from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. Participants will compete in four age categories, with prizes awarded. Whether new to fishing or experienced with a rod and reel, all young anglers are welcome.
Pre-registration is recommended by June 9, 2025, with goodie bags available for those who sign up in advance.
On-site registration is also available—exact change is appreciated.
Complimentary coffee and donuts will be provided for kids and parents.
The event will be held rain or shine, with cancellations only in the event of thunderstorms.
