AOY Art Center

Yardley

“My son loved the art camp last year, and plans to return for camp this summer as well as after-school art classes this Spring. Kris Roba, the camp director, is a treasure, and she and her team are so good with all the kids!”

2026 LOVE AWARD WINNER:
Best Day Camp

Camp NAC

Newtown

“Camp NAC has been such a meaningful part of our family’s experience, and what stands out most is the level of care, intention, and energy that goes into every single day. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that this is more than just a camp, it’s a community where children are truly known, supported, and encouraged to grow. One moment that really stands out was how the team supported my child during their first week. Like many kids, they were nervous and unsure, but the staff went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and included. Brianne Feinour, along with her leadership team and counselors, took the time to connect with my child, learn their interests, and ensure they felt part of the group. Within days, they went from hesitant to excited to go to camp each morning. What makes Camp NAC special is the consistency of the staff and the culture they’ve created. You can tell the team is trained not just to run activities, but to truly care about each child. They celebrate individuality, encourage friendships, and create an environment where kids can build confidence and feel proud of themselves. Her leadership is reflected in every detail, from the way staff interact with campers, to the quality of programming, to the sense of belonging families feel. The team goes above and beyond not just for the campers, but for the families as well, always communicating, supporting, and creating a positive experience. The impact Camp NAC has on the community is incredible. It provides a safe, engaging space for children to learn, grow, and connect, while also giving families peace of mind.”

2026 LOVE AWARD WINNER:
Best Sports Camp

Pure Skills Basketball Camps

Serving Bucks County

“My kids had the best experience. The staff is supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable. My kids wanted to practice the new skills they learned and begged me to sign them up for another week after attending last summer. They had no prior experience and were very hesitant to try a basketball camp but they came away loving the sport and eager to play.”

2026 LOVE AWARD WINNER:
Best Overnight Camp

YMCA Camp Mason

Hardwick Township, NJ

“I have been involved with many camps in my life and worked at Camp Mason during the 1960’s and attended several Alumni Reunions over the years. It was the best experience in my life that really changed my life and provided me the opportunity to find out what is important in life. I actually believe that my years as ‘naturalist’ at Camp Mason was the best job I ever had, even though my 32 years with the USDA Forest Service was wonderful. The camp has always provided the staff and kids with the greatest opportunity to live and play in harmony with a diverse group of people in a diverse natural environment, giving all a chance to enjoy and learn so much from the variety of activities available to them. I always get excited about returning to the camp to visit and feel the love that is there. I met my sweetheart (Laurie) at the camp over 50 years ago, and reunited with her over 25 years ago. So the Camp Mason is extra special to me.”

2026 FAMILY FAVORITE HONOREE:
Day Camp

George School Day Camp

Newtown

“George School Summer Camp is a special place. As a parent I could feel happy my daughter was going to be in a safe place to enjoy wholesome summer fun. What I got at the end of the summer is a child whose confidence, athletic and swimming capabilities and problem-solving skills have grown leaps and bounds. GS does an amazing job at getting the right people who care and inspire the children. My daughter will be talking about GS throughout the year. She tells me she wants to be a counselor too! We look forward to our return next year!”

2026 FAMILY FAVORITE HONOREE:
Overnight Camp

Independent Lake Camp

Thompson

“I am continually inspired by the campers and staff at Independent Lake Camp to be courageous, try new ideas, think outside of the box, be accepting and be kind. One of the best moments was watching my son get caught on the flying trapeze. To see his hard work, dedication, patience and persistence (and all of the same qualities of the staff) resulted in a priceless moment. After a tough year at school, seeing him soar was amazing.”
