Lenape Living History Program
The Churchville Nature Center will host a hands-on Lenape Living History Program on Saturday, November 8, from 11 AM to 4 PM in its recreated Lenape Native American Village. Educators will lead interactive stations on Lenape daily life, including gardening, hunting, fire making, cooking, and family traditions, along with games, crafts, and activities around the nature center.
Guests can also explore the Native American Memorabilia Market, featuring over 100 handmade and reproduction items from the collection of former Lenape Village Director Marge Custer, with proceeds benefiting the Lenape Village education program.
Admission is $6 for members and $9 for non-members. Pre-registration is optional but allows for express entry. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, November 9.
