Touch a Truck in Newtown offers families a unique opportunity to explore the big trucks and vehicles that keep the town running. On Tuesday, April 15, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Veteran’s Park, attendees can get a close-up look at trucks from Newtown Township Public Works, Police, Emergency Services, Leck Waste Services, SEPTA, and more. This hands-on, educational event allows visitors to learn how these vehicles work, with children even able to press the horns on some trucks. Noise-cancelling headphones are recommended for those sensitive to loud sounds. If it rains, the event will be rescheduled to Wednesday, April 16, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Best of all, it’s completely free!
