At School of Rock Doylestown, young musicians join performance groups, “bands,” that spend 4-5 months learning a specific genre or artist. The bands perform three times a season, and their first show will be on Saturday, February 21st! This day will feature four of seven bands: Left of the Dial, Riot Grrrl, The Holy Trinity of Emo, and Iron Maiden versus Judas Priest.

Left of the Dial channels the jangly guitars, sharp lyrics, and DIY spirit of 80’s and 90’s college radio. Riot Grrrl brings raw power, punk urgency, and fearless voices that challenge and inspire. Holy Trinity of Emo delivers cathartic anthems, soaring hooks, and emotionally charged performances drawn from the genre’s most iconic bands. The night culminates with Iron Maiden vs. Judas Priest, a high-octane metal showdown packed with galloping riffs, soaring vocals, and the legendary sound that defined heavy metal’s golden era.
