“Reelin’ in the Fun!” Fishing, Nature & Outdoor Discovery Day

Rep. Tim Brennan will host “Reelin’ in the Fun!” Fishing, Nature & Outdoor Discovery Day on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at Washington Crossing Historic Park’s Thompson-Neely Pavilion.
The free community event will bring families together for hands-on outdoor education focused on fishing, environmental stewardship, recreation, and local history. Partner agencies including the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and Department of Environmental Protection will provide educational activities and demonstrations.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn basic fishing skills such as casting, knot tying, baiting hooks, fish identification, and fishing etiquette. The event will also feature environmental education about the Delaware Canal and surrounding natural resources, along with opportunities to learn more about Washington Crossing Historic Park’s history and outdoor recreation traditions.
