Fourth of July at Fonthill Castle
Celebrate Independence Day on the scenic grounds of Fonthill Castle with a fun-filled day of family-friendly activities, food, games, crafts, live entertainment, and music! Enjoy classic favorites like sack races, tug-of-war, and wheelbarrow races, along with performances from live musicians and a delicious selection of food trucks. Special attractions include antique bicycles, historic town ball (a vintage version of baseball), and other nostalgic games that bring history to life.
The festivities begin with the Decorated Bicycle Parade, where children proudly ride their pre-decorated bikes down Fonthill’s iconic tree-lined driveway. Each young participant is greeted with cheers and receives a special certificate to commemorate their ride.
