Eco-Family Workshops: Monarch Madness at the Elmwood Park Zoo
Elmwood Park Zoo invites guests to help educators kick off the start of fall migration for the beautiful and endangered Monarch butterfly. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the various life stages of the Monarch, learn about its remarkable migration journey, and discover how to support butterfly conservation at home. As part of the experience, guests can take home a host plant to help create Monarch-friendly habitat in their own neighborhoods.
