Join TileWorks for the first official book signing event for local artist/author Mesa Matarese and her debut children’s book “Feral Warrior & the Golden Sticks,” about a brave little squirrel’s journey through her Dark Night and onward to restore the light within.
“Feral Warrior & the Golden Sticks” is a timeless adventure of kindness, resilience, and the transformative power of peace. Be part of this special afternoon where Mesa will be reading her tale alongside the fire and signing copies of her book. There will be art activities for the children, refreshments, and an opportunity to connect with Mesa.
About Melissa: Mesa is a visual artist and prolific creator driven by her wild imagination and love for nature. The story of “Feral Warrior and the Golden Sticks” emerged as a stream of consciousness amidst her own Dark Night, and since then, she has been passionately refining the narrative and crafting the illustrations.
