Tiny Tots Guided Story Stroll: Extraordinary Gardener at Tyler State Park

March 31 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

For children ages 3-5 with an accompanying adult. Registration is now open and will close at noon on the day of the event.

Join educators from Tyler State Park and the Southampton Free Library for a fun, seasonal walk filled with engaging activities and wonderful children’s literature. Each month, we will gather at a different location to explore the outdoors and enjoy a short walk while reading a nature-themed story. Please note that some trails may be muddy, and others may not be stroller-friendly, so plan accordingly.

In this session, we’ll explore the wildflowers at Tyler State Park and read The Extraordinary Gardener by Sam Boughton. After the walk, participants will have the opportunity to plant flower seeds to take home! This program will also be offered on Monday, March 31 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and Tuesday, April 1 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

This program is part of the Longwood Gardens Community Read initiative!
