Cat and Kitten Yoga at Last Chance Ranch

Kid’s Terrarium Workshop at Art of Ecology

Join the Art of Ecology at the Newtown Township Administration Building to learn about how plants interact with the soil and air around them by building your own terrarium ecosystem. All materials will be provided and the terrariums are yours to take home!

Parent/Child Cooking Class with Conquering Cuisine

Conquering Cuisine presents The Food of Italy, a fun and informative session where parent and child will work side-by-side, with the guidance of an instructor, to prep and cook each of the items on a pre-selected menu. This week’s menu features pasta e fagioli with Italian sausage, sun-dried tomato and chicken pasta with basil, and a pear, walnut and mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette! All equipment, recipes, and ingredients are provided. Class runs approximately 2 hours and is geared toward children over 10 years old. Price is for both parent and child.

Groundhog Day Celebration at Tinicum

Will Tinicum Tim come out of his burrow and see his shadow? Join the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum for their family-friendly celebration of winter wildlife. The day will include a live animal presentation, ranger-led walks, live music, refreshments, crafts, and more!

Ice Harvest at the Howell Living History Farm

January 29, 10:00am-4:00pm

70 Woodens Lane, Lambertville, NJ

Any little historians in your family? If so, this is a fun and educational event that you don’t want to miss! In addition to demonstrations of ice cutting, hauling, and handling, visitors will also help pull ice blocks up the ramp to the ice house, chip ice to make ice cream, and make an ice candle to take home. All this PLUS food and snow cone samples make this a definite top 10 event in our eyes! Please note that there is a $4 materials fee for the ice candle craft.

Valentine’s Day Mini Session at Makers Off Main
