Set against the scenic backdrop of the farmhouse lawn\, the event features talented fiddlers\, guitarists\, mandolinists\, and other musicians performing traditional folk and bluegrass tunes. Guests will find music throughout the farm\, with performers perched on porches\, nestled under trees\, and scattered across the lawn\, often sharing stories behind their historic instruments. The contest begins at 12:00 PM under the trees\, and visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. The day also includes homemade food\, ice cream\, horse-drawn wagon rides\, a children’s craft activity\, and a grand finale performance featuring 30 fiddlers.

Taking place on Tuesday\, August 26\, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the intersection of North 8th Street and West Market Street\, the event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony at 6:00 PM. Guests can enjoy refreshments\, meet the artist\, take part in art projects and crafts\, and enjoy face painting and games. \nThe new mural\, painted on an old freight car beside Perkasie’s historic freight house\, showcases some of the town’s most beloved landmarks and was created by Carrie Kingsbury of Promiseland Murals. The project was made possible in part by a Visit Bucks County Tourism Grant.
