SUMMARY:Free Personal Self-Defense Course
DESCRIPTION:Not a karate class – just the essential that save lives! Perfect for kids heading off to college in the fall. The course covers situational awareness\, de-escalation\, and physical protection strategies and techniques. Not a one-day lecture\, but a comprehensive 8 week program that builds lasting\, lifelong skills. Absolutely free\, open to adults and teens (16+)\, no prior experience necessary. \nTheir program is built on the methods of the Bucks County Public Safety Training Center\, the FBI’s Tactical Training Unit\, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC)\, and nationally recognized programs including S.A.F.E.\, R.A.D.\, and ALICE Active Shooter Response Training which are taught at colleges\, universities\, and K-12 schools nationwide. \nBCS Self-Defense Instructors have taught programs at Temple University\, Rider University\, Westminster Choir College\, The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)\, Stockton University\, Mercer County Community College\, and dozens of other schools\, community centers\, and businesses for over 40 years throughout Bucks County and the surrounding areas. \nClass size is limited\, so it is encouraged to register soon! \n  \nMeets weekly on Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm\, June 4 through July 23.

Kicking off on Saturday\, June 27\, this summer-long competition will offer four monthly matches\, and its winners will compete in the championship in October. Monthly winners receive $100 cash plus free mini-golf for a family of four for the rest of the 2026 season. The championship winner will receive $250 cash plus free mini-golf for the 2027 season!
