DESCRIPTION:Perkasie Borough Council and the Perkasie Town Improvement Association invite the community to celebrate the unveiling of Perkasie’s newest mural project at a special “block pARTy” event. Taking place on Tuesday\, August 26\, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the intersection of North 8th Street and West Market Street\, the event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony at 6:00 PM. Guests can enjoy refreshments\, meet the artist\, take part in art projects and crafts\, and enjoy face painting and games. \nThe new mural\, painted on an old freight car beside Perkasie’s historic freight house\, showcases some of the town’s most beloved landmarks and was created by Carrie Kingsbury of Promiseland Murals. The project was made possible in part by a Visit Bucks County Tourism Grant.

No pressure. Find support\, information\, friendship\, and validation\, every Wednesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. \nThe Rainbow Room has been meeting in Doylestown since 2002 and welcomes all youth\, ages 14 to 21. On the fourth Wednesday of every month youth ages 12 to 13 to join\, with guardian or parent consent. Email RainbowRoom@ppkeystone.org for a consent form.
