SUMMARY:Kids’ Art Classes at Blue Sky Art Studio
DESCRIPTION:Let your child’s creativity take center stage at Blue Sky Art Studio. The Bensalem studio offers weekly\, drop-in art classes for kids\, tweens\, and teens\, with hands-on lessons designed to build real artistic skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression. \nEach 90-minute class explores different art techniques\, materials\, elements of design and\, at times\, art history and famous artists. Students may work with everything from acrylic paints and pastels to sculpture and mixed media. \nAges & Class Times\nElementary-aged artists ages 5–10 can attend classes on Tuesdays from 6–7:30 p.m. or Saturdays from 10–11:30 a.m.\nTweens and teens ages 10–18 can join the Friday class from 6:30–8 p.m. \nCost\nThe cost is $30 per child per class. \nRegistration\nDrop-in and pay-as-you-go; no long-term commitment required. Cash or personal check only.

DESCRIPTION:Get into the Halloween spirit with one of Yardley’s most beloved fall traditions! Canal-O-Ween transforms a stretch of the Delaware Canal into a glowing nighttime display featuring nearly 500 hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns created by local community members. Families can stroll along the canal and admire the pumpkins\, from classic spooky faces to elaborate works of art. \nLocation\nThe jack-o’-lanterns will be displayed along N. Edgewater Avenue between Fuld Road and E. Afton Avenue. \nTime\nCanal-O-Ween begins at sundown every evening from October 25 through Halloween. \nParking\nLimited parking is available at the open lot near Fuld Road and Morgan Avenue\, with additional public parking available around downtown Yardley. \nNote: Canal-O-Ween is a rain-or-shine event.
