The Preserve at Play

Join Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve for a special day devoted to children and play on Saturday, June 10, in which families with children ages 14 and under are welcomed to enjoy Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve for free all day long. The Preserve at Play is a new annual event that celebrates families getting outside and learning about nature with their budding naturalists. This year their theme is Birds & Blooms and offers a full day devoted to family fun and child-friendly activities. Look forward to games, woodland crafts, sensory exploration, refreshments, live music by Lolly Hopwood, a wildlife program by The Wilderz Wildlife and more. Enjoy our hiking trails, the children’s play areas (R.O.T. Plot and Sycamore Hollows), the Green Labyrinth and all other areas of the Preserve during this day of celebration for the next generation of explorers.
