Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival – Sakura Weekend
April 5 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Celebrate traditional and contemporary Japanese culture under the cherry blossom trees during this free and public, family-friendly event, featuring live music, dance performances, arts and crafts, a vendor fair, food trucks, a beer garden, and much more.
Cherry Blossom Festival programs are scheduled throughout late March and the month of April 2024. However, the festival’s centerpiece is Sakura Weekend, Saturday, April 5, 10 am–5 pm, and Sunday, April 6, 10 am–5 pm.
Admission to Sakura Weekend is free and open to the public.
This yearly festival brings a taste of Japan to Philadelphia and highlights the beauty of Japanese sakura—the flowering cherry trees that brighten city streets and parks with their distinctive pink and white blossoms.
Admission requirements will vary for other festival programs scheduled during March and April. Visit the event page for the festival program schedule.
The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual spring celebration of Japanese arts and culture organized by Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP), with tremendous support from title sponsor Subaru of America, Inc.
