STEAM Saturday at the Fab Lab: Coding and Robotics

The Fab Lab’s STEAM Saturdays offer a fun opportunity for students to engage more in-depth in computer science and digital fabrication! Children currently in grades 1 through 8 are invited to register; students will be broken into small groups based on ages once registration closes. This session of STEAM Saturdays will engage children in coding and robotics. Students will learn to code different robots to engage in different challenges. Younger students will begin coding with colors and learn drag-and-drop coding on an iPad, while older students will progress to coding with Scratch on computers. Teachers will meet students at their current knowledge and comfort level with coding to ensure that everyone is successful and has fun!
