SSAAM’s Juneteenth 2025: Stories of Freedom

The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum (SSAAM), Central New Jersey’s only museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the African American experience, will host its fourth annual Juneteenth celebration, Stories of Freedom, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 12 PM to 4 PM—rain or shine.
The event will take place at the historic Mt. Zion AME Church and the adjacent Reasoner/True House in Skillman, NJ. Guests of all ages are invited to enjoy a dynamic afternoon filled with live performances, interactive exhibits, and engaging hands-on activities that honor the spirit and history of Juneteenth.
