Parent/Child Cooking – Dinner for Those in Need
January 11 @ 11:00 am
Pre-covid, Conquering Cuisine designed one of their events so that they would have leftovers of the dishes that were featured. That food was packaged up and dropped of at Manna on Main Street in Lansdale, a non-profit organization committed to ending hunger in the area. A customer recently reminded them of that experience and it got them thinking. Why not design one of their parent/child classes to do the same? It has all the fun and informative aspects of a regular session with the extra benefit of the kids seeing the extra food go to good cause. Conquering Cuisine will provide extra food and packaging for the donation and trays will be dropped off to the food bank immediately after the class. Price is for both adult and child.
- Garden Salad with Tomatoes, Peppers, Cucumber and Creamy Italian Dressing
- Penne Pasta with Tomato and Fresh Basil Sauce
- Chicken Marsala with Button Mushrooms and Fresh Rosemary
- Chocolate Chip Cannolis
