Newtown Library 5K Walk/Run
Participants are invited to run or walk through the historic streets of Newtown Borough on a USATF-certified course, professionally timed by Pretzel City Sports. The race begins and ends at the Newtown Library Company, located at 114 East Centre Avenue.
On the same day, the library will host its annual book sale. Proceeds from both the 5K and the book sale will benefit the Newtown Library Company, a non-profit organization operated by community volunteers. Fruit and water will be available for all runners, and the first 100 to register will receive a complimentary race t-shirt.
