MLK Service Day with Yogamazia
January 16 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Start the year with a day of community action to mark Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day with Yogamazia.
The theme this year is “Cultivating a beloved community mindset to transform unjust systems” and we’ll be joining forces with Gigi Project to host a “MLK Day with a Service” activity.
On Monday 16th January between 3 and 6pm help pack snack bags for kids that need a healthy snack between meals and their parents can’t afford it.
Snack Bags will be distributed by Caring for Friends, which provides food and friendship to homebound seniors and disabled, homeless, and families with children in need in the 5-county Philadelphia region; Bucks County makes up a large percentage of its distribution.
In the spirit of Dr. King, any donation contributed to this event will go directly to The Peace Center in Langhorne, PA, who work for community peace and social justice in our area.
