Presented by Shirley Lee Corsey of Gather Place, this engaging 45-minute lecture with 15 minutes of audience Q&A, spotlights the remarkable achievements of women who have excelled in aviation, space exploration, sports, and STEM. Showcasing inspiring stories from each category, this presentation features both well-known history makers and lesser-known trailblazers. Celebrate the courage, determination, and brilliance of these extraordinary women who broke barriers and changed the world.
Shirley Lee Corsey is the founder of Gather Place, a non-profit museum residing in the historic African Methodist Episcopal Church in Yardley Borough, whose mission is restoring, preserving, and celebrating the site’s rich heritage
